And...our surprise pouch with 10 different-shaped tea bags tops the list! It’s the ideal gift to discover or share our tea blends and expertise. Our surprise pouch is one of our most popular creations.

To design it, I drew inspiration from the British Christmas crackers, a cherished tradition that has brightened holiday seasons since 1850. British Christmas crackers are cardboard tubes placed on each guest’s plate at Christmas meals. Inside, there’s a small gift, a paper crown for dressing up, and a riddle that livens up family dinners.

Originally a Victorian tradition, romantic in nature as only men would give them to women, the tradition has evolved and is now embraced by all Britons and by Tea Heritage!

I love creating seasonal versions of our surprise pouch. We’re currently preparing the one for this fall!

While our surprise pouch is a great end-of-year gift idea, many of you enjoy creating your own selection of tea bags. You can mix and match tea bag shapes (e.g., Cat and Butterfly) with different teas (e.g., Jasmine Green Tea and English Breakfast).
